lps<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.art/@BenjaminBrinckmann" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>BenjaminBrinckmann</span></a></span> sadly there seems to be a big difference in the interpretation of <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/motiongraphics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>motiongraphics</span></a> <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/motiondesign" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>motiondesign</span></a> depending on who you ask, but I usually see particle type effects with 3d objects as opposed to what is typical in <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/ae" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ae</span></a> which usually behaves more like 2d cutout animations, 2.5d, primarily masking, scaling, spinning, shape layers, trim paths and text animation...basically moving illustrator/Photoshop.</p><p>I can't wait for a capable <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/foss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>foss</span></a> replacement, but I haven't found one yet:(</p>
