Kittens I need help. What can be done to backup a website if we are logged out of all admin panels? I'm going through a hell of a divorce process and looks like bogolepov.eu is a hostage now. And it's not just a website. It's a baby. I hope the sanity will be restored and I'm panicking over nothing. But I also want to know what to do in the worst case scenario. Or since the website is up now. Thank you

I wish that WordPress would add an option to create a new menu in the "Navigation" section of the site editor.

Right now, the only way to create a new menu is to duplicate an existing menu and then edit it. This is a HUGE P.I.T.A. for me because the site I'm working on already has 20 menus ... and I'm not done yet.

There is a lot of content on this site, so we have section menus in the sidebar. This can't be a unique situation, can it?

I want the old menu interface back. 😬

WordPress developers ... have you ever used a plugin that lets you set up custom status for pages ... and show the status as a column in the list of pages in the admin?

The client is only done with some of the content for the site I'm working on. I'm creating pages even if the content isn't ready so that I can set up the menus. But there are so many pages, it's getting hard to keep track.

I just need a visual flag & maybe a filter.

Wait, so the #WordPress Foundation listed dotorg as their organization website on their application? Wouldn't that contradict Matt's claim that it's his personal website?

(Unless it's his personal foundation, which is probably true in all ways except legally)

People, when you build a site, Especially in a #CMS, please change the favicon.ico (or whatever the stylesheet points to) so it's not the framework logo.

I'm *Specifically* looking at you, #WordPress developers. This is a pervasive problem in those circles.

Your Site, Your Rules: Filtering Fediverse Activity

When running a WordPress site with the ActivityPub plugin, you're not just managing a website—you're also operating a node in the Fediverse. This means you need effective tools to block unwanted activities, users, servers, and content from other instances across the network. How Blocking Works in ActivityPub for WordPress The ActivityPub plugin takes a pragmatic approach to blocking unwanted content by building on WordPress’s existing “Disallowed Comment Keys” feature. While this […]
