I made an accountability website (Gremlin) that roasts you when you slack off. Would love some feedback :)

I also added some notes in my “digital garden” on setting up a Kodi streaming box on a Raspberry Pi — I summarize a few different tutorials I've found, including basic setup and getting different streaming services to work
I like this *much* better than a commercial “smart” TV

It's now been 15 years since Flash's ultimate demise¹ so laughing at this screenshot might date you.

I'm currently trying to build a website that requires integrating an email delivery service.
I have to say that I was quite surprised to find just how complex the pricing structure of most services are, and also how many hidden expenses are there.
Fortunately, I found the following YouTube video from @stevebuildswebsites which really broke it all down and made it simple to understand.

I recommend giving it a watch if you deal with web development.

One of the things in my digital garden is this set of tutorials on webmentions:
https://reillyspitzfaden.com/digital-garden/tutorials/webmention-tutorial/
I noticed I kept writing blog posts about them (and realized I would probably keep doing that for a while!) and decided to put everything in one place.
You can use the table of contents (also a new site feature!) to hop around and choose the tutorial you want, and the first two are pretty easy even with only a small amount of HTML experience.
I added a digital garden section to my site! https://reillyspitzfaden.com/digital-garden/
I'm using it to put tutorials, research/project notes, and other things that I will return to and build on over time. In the process, I found a useful plugin for Eleventy (https://github.com/photogabble/eleventy-plugin-interlinker) that lets me use wikilinks as I would in Obsidian, making it easier to link my notes together.

Over the years I have been developing a pretty severe distaste for Figma, without getting into it too much, it does a lot of little things that just make it feel hostile to the platform, if the platform being designed for is the web.
https://penpot.app/ looks like it might address a lot of that. Curious if others have tried it and seen any of the advertised benefits play out.
