Maceo Quintanar<p>Israel has escalated its punishment against the Freedom Flotilla activists it kidnapped. It transferred Rima Hassan, Member of the European Parliament, to Neve Tirza Prison. She was placed in confinement, in a small cell with no windows. She along with Thiago Avila have started a hunger strike. Thiago was moved to Ayalon Prison.</p><p>There’s also a message from Mark Van Rennes, the Dutch sailor aboard the Madleen:<br>“The governments of the world failed to provide safe passage to the Madleen, to allow humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, who have been facing ethnic cleansing for 80 years and an illegal blockade for 18.
