Don Trueten :antifa:Happy Birthday Villa Felix! Der 35. Jahrestag der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Hausbesetzung" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Hausbesetzung</a> in der Schreinerstraße 47 in <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Berlin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Berlin</a>-<a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Friedrichshain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Friedrichshain</a> war Anlass für Künstler*innen gemeinsam mit der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Hausgemeinschaft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Hausgemeinschaft</a> deren Fassade neu zu gestalten. Die zentralen Inhalte und Bild-Motive haben die Bewohner*innen entschieden. Das <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Wimmelbild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Wimmelbild</a> gesellschaftlicher Utopien spiegelt die unterschiedlichen Themen wieder, mit denen sie sich innerhalb ihres <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Wohnprojekts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Wohnprojekts</a> auseinandersetzen: neben der praktischen <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Vergesellschaftung" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Vergesellschaftung</a> von <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Wohnraum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Wohnraum</a> z.B. <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Feminismus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Feminismus</a> und <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Klimagerechtigkeit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Klimagerechtigkeit</a>. Der finale Entwurf entstand nach mehreren offenen Treffen im Laufe des Sommers, auf denen Skizzen und Ideen zusammengetragen wurden. Die <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Schreiner47" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Schreiner47</a> wurde am 29. Dezember 1989 von zunächst einem dutzend Menschen besetzt, die sich aus der unangepassten <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Oppositionsbewegung" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Oppositionsbewegung</a> der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/DDR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DDR</a> kannten oder u.a. in der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Kirche" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Kirche</a> von Unten aktiv waren. Einer von ihnen war <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/SilvioMeier" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SilvioMeier</a>, der im November 1992 am nahegelegenen U-Bahnhof von Neo-Nazis ermordet wurde. Zu seinem Gedenken gibt es seitdem jährliche antifaschistische Demonstrationen. In der „Villa Felix“, wie das Haus später genannt wurde, gibt es u.a. selbstverwaltete Vereinsräume. Don Trueten :antifa:Happy Birthday Villa Felix!  The 35th anniversary of the squatting of Schreinerstraße 47 in <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Berlin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Berlin</a>-<a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Friedrichshain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Friedrichshain</a> was the <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/occasion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#occasion</a> for artists to paint the façade together with the residents. The residents decided on the central content and image motifs. The picture of social utopias reflects the various topics they deal with within their housing project: in addition to the practical appropriation of living space, for example, <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/feminism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#feminism</a> and <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/climatejustice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#climatejustice</a>. The final design was created after several open meetings over the summer, at which sketches and ideas were compiled. <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Schreiner47" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Schreiner47</a> was initially occupied on 29 December 1989 by a dozen people who knew each other from the non-conformist <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/opposition" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#opposition</a> movement in the <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/GDR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#GDR</a> or were active in the <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Kirche" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Kirche</a> von Unten, among others. One of them was <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/SilvioMeier" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SilvioMeier</a>, who was murdered by neo- <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Nazis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Nazis</a> at the nearby underground station in November 1992. Since then, there have been annual anti-fascist demonstrations in his memory. In the ‘Villa Felix’, as the house was later called, there is, among other things, self-managed <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Clubrooms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Clubrooms</a>. Since 2003, the Schreiner has been owned by a co-operative and thus successfully taken off the <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/rental" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#rental</a> market.
