With CachyOS, and Linux sched-ext feature, you can choose any one of OS schedulers in BPF. That way you can optimize your system further based on workload; some good for LLMs, some good for high-network services and so on. (There is even a GUI for this). See https://wiki.cachyos.org/configuration/sched-ext/
Linux is the only operating system that provides such flexibility AFAIK. If this is available in other OSes (desktop or server), please let me know.
A scheduler in an OS kernel is the mechanism which coordinates the operation requests. There are a collection of them where one may be good with video games, another with databases. There is no single 'perfect' solution.

I recently moved, triggered by job requirements, from being a #Todo-lister to #Scheduler, as described in this blog post https://www.nirandfar.com/todo-vs-schedule-builder/ .
It's a nice experience so far if the tools are setup right.

System76-Scheduler 2.0.1: "Significant" Reduction In CPU/RAM Use, Gamescope Detection, https://www.phoronix.com/news/System76-Scheduler-2.0.1.
> Last week System76 released System76-Scheduler 2.0 as their Rust-written Linux desktop scheduler that serves as a user-space daemon to dynamically manage process priorities to favor performance and responsiveness. That's now been succeeded by a v2.0.1 update with a few more features and improvements.
::: System76 (premium Linux PC & OS makers) - Scheduler 2.0.1

I'm looking for something like #Scompler for Mastodon.
A tool that lets you schedule posts and analyze your interactions.
So far I've found and tried #Analytodon #Buffer #Fediplan #Scheduler and #Seenly.
I made a quick table with the results of my tests: https://joinfediverse.wiki/Scheduling_and_analytic_tools_for_Mastodon
Does anybody know any other tools? Preferably something that ticks all the boxes?
I have just connected my Radaar account and can now post and schedule to Mastodon. This makes life so much easier :)
You can now connect your #Mastodon accounts to #RADAAR, and you can use our #Scheduler, #Streams and #SocialInbox features to manage them in one place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rq1YFemkYGU

Hey @Gargron! How am I doing? No more cross posting Twitter bots as requested. Any chance we'll have a toot #scheduler sometime? I tend to do my reading in bursts and want to spread out what I share.
