I mean, would this bill be a-ok if it *only* applied to invasive enterprises controlled by hostile *foreign dictatorships* like the Chinese Communist Party?

Maybe there should be controls on what (commercial) entities from non-hostile, accountable countries can do with our privacy (of course!), and another set (or a *ban*) for entities that are inherently hostile?

Just dropping any planned restrictions on tiktok and its ilk isn't necessarily *protecting* Americans or all other nationalities inclined to "tiktok"...
