Ishambard<p>So, I have now completed the entire Magical Quest trilogy. </p><p>Magical Quest 3 is pretty much more of the same, except with an additional twist. Mickey and Donald play slightly differently. The outfits they get have the same functionality but have their own quirks.<br>The armour outfit, for instance, Mickey, has a lance and shield, whilst Donald is in a barrel with a squishy hammer... Someone is loved more than the other, and that one is Donald. He is strangely overpowered in this game.</p><p>This game literally throws extra lives at you, possibly because the expectation is you'll be playing Co-op and much like MQ2, dying drops you straight back in the action, none of that pesky restarting from the beginning until you need to use one of your infinite continues.</p><p>Again, like MQ2, using a continue means you lose all your coins. But this game has a repeatable mini-game to make coin farming a little less tedious in some areas.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/SNES" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SNES</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GBA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GBA</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>Ugh... So, I beat Majora in Majora's Mask.<br>I have a list of little things I still need to accomplish, but defeating the final boss has been done.</p><p>I can only think of a handful of achievements that have given me a similar level of grief. Though some of this grief was my own doing.</p><p>Truth be told, it was the first form that was given me the most hassle. There is a challenge to beat it as just Deku Link. Which sounds simple enough. The boss has a move that is tailor-made for Deku Link to damage him.</p><p>The challenge comes into the halfway point of the fight, Majora used a fiery laser attack, which he loves to spam and if Deku Link is hit by a fire attack, the game "death warps" you back to the entrance of the room you are in... Or to the start of the boss fight... And Majora is back to full health. </p><p>Yeah... This took me a while to do... Much to my Wife's dismay, I finished just before 1am this morning...</p><p>(1/2)</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/MajorasMask" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MajorasMask</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameCube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameCube</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>This is one of the worst achievements I have ever gotten.<br>Not in the sense that it was hard. Not at all, I used an exploit to enter Sakon the thief's lair early... But, imagine going through the entire Kafei/Anju quest line and when Kafei finally makes it to the Stock Pot Inn at 4:30am, as the Moon is descending on Termina</p><p>Anju... Isn't there.</p><p>She didn't believe in him enough to wait for him. She sought shelter with her family and the rest of Clock Town. This leaves Kafei, all alone in the abandoned town... At least in this timeline, he won't be heartbroken for too long...</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/MajorasMask" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MajorasMask</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/LegendOfZelda" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LegendOfZelda</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>That's fascinating. The Zelda Collector's Edition achievement list on <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> doesn't have a 3 heart challenge for Ocarina of Time, but Majora's Mask does! Heck, even Zelda 1 has an 8 Heart no red ring challenge. It just seems like an odd one to be missing.</p><p>I already did it once on the N64 list, and it is quite a good time. Learnt some useful combat strategies, which essentially boils down to Deku Nuts are pretty damn good.</p><p>The most "complicated" ones on that list are the Adult Link boss speed runs. And those shouldn't be too particularly complex. Will probably want the Big Goron Sword for that, though.</p><p>Perhaps I can stream this one.<br>I wonder if early Golden Scale works on the GameCube? </p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/OcarinaOfTime" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OcarinaOfTime</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/LegendOfZelda" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LegendOfZelda</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameCube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameCube</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/MajorasMask" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MajorasMask</span></a> is proceeding relatively fine despite two crashes last night, first in Woodfall whilst getting the boss key and the second in Snowhead as I was collecting stray fairies.</p><p>But we now have the Gilded Sword and I jumped back in time to nab Epona, access Great Bay, get the Garo Mask, hookshot, Captain's Hat, Gibdo Mask (skipping the Ice Arrow requirement to get to Ikana Valley Owl Statue) and got the Mirror Shield before going back to the Inn to meet up Anju and then off to the ranch to stop the alien invasion. A lot of ground was covered 🤣</p><p>My plan tonight is to get the New Wave Bossa Nova and Elegy of Emptiness, that way I only need to do one more cycle to fully clear those dungeons and I can be off to the Moon for the final showdown.</p><p>All the while, I am jumping through the hoop of having only 3 hearts... Damn you <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameCube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameCube</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/LegendOfZelda" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LegendOfZelda</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>So, a thought, if I wanted to do a current complete Mastery of the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/LegendOfZelda" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LegendOfZelda</span></a> games on <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p><p>I am going to need to beat<br>Zelda 1: Four times (NES, SNES, GBA, GC)<br>Zelda 2: Three times (NES, GBA, GC)<br>Link to the past: Twice (SNES, GBA) *Done*<br>Link's Awakening: Twice (GB and GBC)<br>Ocarina of Time: Twice (N64 and GC)<br>Majora's Mask: Twice (N64 and GC)<br>Wind Waker: Twice (GC 2x)<br>Four Swords: Twice (GC and DSi)</p><p>And everything else once.</p><p>Ocarina of Time Master Quest<br>Oracle of Ages<br>Oracle of Seasons<br>Minish Cap<br>Twilight Princess<br>Phantom Hourglass<br>Spirit Tracks<br>Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland<br>Tingle's Balloon Fight<br>The Ancient Tables (Link to the Past Satellaview)</p><p>Sweet jesus.<br>Thank God I really do enjoy the Zelda games, especially Ocarina of Time!<br>Though Zelda 1 and 2 will be a MISERABLE time since I have never beaten those.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>So, this is a game from my childhood that was hard to find because of the name. I had an import copy of this game, and in the US, it was called Smart Ball.</p><p>The original name for this is Jerry Boy, which, if you understand the quirk in Japanese language with 'L' and 'R', infers that the game should probably be romanised to Jelly Boy. But not that Jelly Boy on <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/SNES" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SNES</span></a></p><p>The US version removes a fair amount of content, removing mid-act town stages where you can talk to NPCs and get some additional lives. Lives you might need as this game doesn't take it easy on our Jelly bean looking hero.</p><p>Nostalgia probably keeps this one at the forefront of my mind, but it was fun to revisit. <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> required me to play the Japanese version, so I slapped the translation patch on that and got to experience the full story of this game, which was a novel experience.</p><p>Oh yeah, it was also developed by Game Freak, so that's pretty cool!</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>So, let's play something British for a change. </p><p>Something that I vaguely remember from my childhood is the series <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/JamesPond" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JamesPond</span></a> not to be confused with British entertainment staple, James Bond. This is a fish who is a secret agent!</p><p>And today, we're looking at Super James Pond. If it didn't have the super prefix, we wouldn't know it was <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/SNES" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SNES</span></a> game. This game is actually James Pond 2 RoboCod and is available on... Pretty much every system going.</p><p>It is also a fever dream of a game, the backgrounds and environments are a little nonsensical and bizarre. It's not a bad game, but maybe a little visually crowded in some places. Otherwise, it is a rather standard platformer with an odd gimmick of your hero being infinitely vertically stretchy. </p><p>Did I mention it is also a Christmas game? We're on a mission to save Santa! I should have waited till December to play this...</p><p>Playing British was a mistake...</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/SuperNintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SuperNintendo</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>Like every 90's child, I had a dinosaur phase that was probably perpetuated by Jurassic Park. A film that a child of 4 or 5 had no right to watch even with parental guidance.</p><p>Whilst i don't remember my dinosaur phase, I DO remember having Jurassic Park in the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Gameboy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gameboy</span></a> and never beating. Well, last night, life found a way.</p><p>This game is very cruel. The first two levels are actually the hardest in terms of difficulty with the Triceratops stampede where it is easy to hemorrhage lives and a T-Rex "fight" where if you didn't pick up all the ammo pick ups, accidentally waste your special ammo, and use a continue is impossible to beat.</p><p>It's no wonder child me never beat this.<br>Feels good to get a Mastery on this, even if I had to grind out a high score and also end the game with 9 lives for two achievements</p><p>I feel I need to play the 16-bit games, as I do remember playing those, especially the Genesis ones. I'll add that time my ever growing list.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>So, it is done. I have 100%'d the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/PlayStation2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PlayStation2</span></a> version of True Crime Streets of LA.<br>And honestly... I think nostalgia plays a big factor here, that and thinking about the New York sequel.</p><p>It's just... It's not that great. As mentioned before, solving street crime is probably the most fun part, but even that gets a little tiresome after a while. The hand to hand combat is also incredibly wonky. The enemies will sometimes just perfectly block every, or you won't hit them during their wind-up animations for special attacks. It's just a little frustrating.</p><p>As far as the GTA throne contenders go, it might have been impressive back in the day, with the massive map where you just can't seem to find the scarcely placed upgrade challenges.</p><p>I mean, there is the Snoop Dogg Dogg Patrol bonus mission, solving Crime as Snoop Dogg for an hour sounds way better than it actually is.</p><p>Well, I can park this one and not think about it ever again now.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>So, I settled on a game to play.</p><p>True Crime Streets of LA.</p><p>I remember having a lot of fun with this game as a teens. It served as a pretty decent alternative to Grand Theft Auto, even if the map of LA is a little too big and just a bit of a bore to drive around.</p><p>That being said, for me, the main draw for the game is busting street crime as you cruise to your next mission location.</p><p>I must admit, a thought came to mind and maybe a LA resident can confirm this... Does everyone know martial arts in LA? It is quite fun that every hand to hand fight you get into in True Crime involves jumping snap kicks and intricate grapples and throws.</p><p>It's a pretty goofy game, and definitely not as good as the New York Sequel.</p><p>Going to knock out the Dogg Bone hunt before I get into the game proper. 30 items hidden across LA? Might have to consult the great interwebs for this one...</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/PlayStation2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PlayStation2</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/ALinkToThePast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ALinkToThePast</span></a> is always a good time.<br>Though, something i have noticed is two minor things with the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameBoyAdvance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoyAdvance</span></a> version.</p><p>Firstly, when using the pegasus boots, you can dash through pots instead of bonking of them. This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't utilise a pot bonk in Ganon's tower to skip a section with invisible floors.</p><p>Secondly, there is a small change to Ice Palace in Basement 5 and 6. It changes the puzzle before the boss fight. In the SNES version, you push a block down to the floor below to put on a switch, or use the Staff of Somaria. In the GBA version you have to drop yourself down on the other side of a wall that wasn't there in the SNES version.<br>I am not explaining it well.</p><p>But anyway, that was a comfy deathless run, now to see if I can get into the 4 Swords bonus dungeon!</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/LegendOfZelda" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LegendOfZelda</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>So, something I find quite interesting.</p><p>The missable achievements for the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameBoyAdvance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoyAdvance</span></a> version of <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/ALinkToThePast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ALinkToThePast</span></a> don't include any of the damageless boss fights.</p><p>Missables are only the free fire shield and a deathless run.</p><p>This implies that you can re-fight these bosses without having to restart the save file. That's kinda interesting. Might have to explore that at some point.</p><p>ALttP definitely is the palette cleanser I needed after Chu Chu Rocket. </p><p>It is my most completed game, but that was because there was a period of time I was doing randomiser runs, either solo, races, or co-op runs on a semi regular basis.</p><p>So this completion should be a pretty gentle cruise, which is what I need right now.</p><p>As an additional fun fact, the GBA version was the first one I ever completed, I remember borrowing aLttP from somewhere on the SNES, but never finished it. I got stuck in Ice Palace.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/LegendOfZelda" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LegendOfZelda</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>It is done!</p><p>I finally cleared all 2,500 user stages on Chu Chu Rocket!</p><p>So, part of this was wanting to complete this game was because I remember picking this game up in a local store for about £20 and I was blown away at how much content there was! </p><p>At 2,500 user maps, that is insane, even if I feel some are duplicated... <br>Mastering this on <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> puts this game from my childhood to rest for good.</p><p>The added bonus, I am the first user on the website to achieve this. This was the second motivator for this. It feels good, not going to lie.</p><p>I am now exhausted, and I look forward to playing something that is a bit more in my wheelhouse. Perhaps a platformer... Or shooter. We'll see what happens next.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Sega" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Sega</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/SonicTeam" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SonicTeam</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameBoyAdvance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoyAdvance</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>I do feel bad for my Wife sometimes...</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>No, that isn’t stage 3004, but actually, stage 3-O-04</p><p>Chu Chu Rocket on the <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GBA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GBA</span></a> has 2,500 extra puzzles from Japanese, Europe, and US servers. These are divided into 4 packs of 25 sets of 25 puzzles.</p><p>Designated with a number between 1-4, letter between A-Y, and then a number between 1-25.</p><p>So stage 3O-04 would be like... Puzzle 1,604 out of 2,500.</p><p>So, I'm slowly getting there. As mentioned previously, the European server sets seem to have more stages that are simpler than the Japanese servers. This doesn't mean there haven't been some absolutely sods of European puzzles, but some sets I have managed to blitz through or have provided, potentially unintended solutions, which makes the stages quite straightforward.</p><p>Still, it will probably take me up to the end of this week to finish off the last 900 puzzles.</p><p>Then, I will be free of this adorable Mouse mayhem.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameBoyAdvance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoyAdvance</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Sega" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Sega</span></a></p>
Vanessa Nightshade 🏳️‍⚧️<p>We are not enjoying Super Mario Advance as much as the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros 2. The lower resolution makes it harder to see things from being zoomed in. The physics feel wrong as well. </p><p>We do like that they added more collectibles and mushrooms, but they also added so many opportunities to get health, so it's really hard to die outside of falling in a hole.</p><p>The couple of new bosses were a nice treat, though. If the new features were ported into the SNES version of this game, it might be perfect.</p><p><a href="https://beige.party/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/GBA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GBA</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/SuperMarioBros2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SuperMarioBros2</span></a></p>

Ishambard<p>So, I forgot to talk a little bit about, yet another *sigh*, Mickey Mouse game. This one is a little bit of an odd one. It's entry number 5 in Kemco's Crazy Castle series.<br>I will get to Crazy Castle at some point, but right now, we have ミッキーマウスV 魔法のステッキ or Mickey Mouse V Magic Stick! Or just Mickey Mouse: Magic Wands outside of Japan.</p><p>This is a weird little puzzle game. It feels like Mickey and Co were just slapped on a completely different game. Doesn't stop it being a decent little puzzle platformer where you use your magic stick to freeze water, create platforms, and break crystals to rescue your friends</p><p>Puzzle games aren't typically my jam, but I can enjoy them. I certainly had a good time with this. The pinch points are relatively minor, some of the magical spells take way too long to perform, which can be annoying when enemies are hurtling towards you. Infinite continues and a password system keep it from being too frustrating though.</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameBoy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoy</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a></p>
Ishambard<p>So, I went ahead and did it. Just call me a gaming master, as I have beaten Mickey's Ultimate Challenge. I didn't just beat it once.<br>I beat it on 4 different platforms!<br><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/SNES" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SNES</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Gameboy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gameboy</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/GameGear" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameGear</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/MasterSystem" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MasterSystem</span></a></p><p>I feel dirty adding this game and the upcoming educational games to my list for completions. Mostly because I have a hint of snobbery.</p><p>Mickey's Ultimate Challenge is a collection of puzzle games, ranging from Match 2 to a pattern recognition to a dreaded sliding puzzle.</p><p>There isn't too much to say, as even the achievement sets, besides the SNES version, are quite bare, and regardless of which version you play, you are essentially getting the same experience.</p><p>I don't recommend doing what I did, which was back to back completions.<br>Next on the list is Mickey in Numberland and Letterland.</p><p>After that, that just leaves all the typical games I would be playing!</p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroAchievements" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroAchievements</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
