Less hilariously, it turns out that, up until recently, the vast majority of eyetracking studies were carried out in the US and West Europe on major European languages. Now studies on Chinese in China are changing the picture, but still eyetracking reading studies are still limited to very few languages.</p><p>* Also, it turns out that using <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/QuartoPub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QuartoPub</span></a> to host Quarto slides is not only useful to share slides with the audience and on social media, but also to easily switch computer when the presenter's laptop can no longer connect with the temperamental projector.</p>

Mickaël CANOUIL<p>Once upon a time, in the land of Quarto, there lived a wise and benevolent Quarto Wizard. One day, whilst exploring the ancient libraries, he stumbled upon a magical listing of Quarto extensions. Recognising its immense value, he decided to share it with the people. With a flick of his wand, he made it possible to install these extensions with just a few clicks.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Quarto" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Quarto</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/QuartoPub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QuartoPub</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/VSCode" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VSCode</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/PositronIDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PositronIDE</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/VSCodium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VSCodium</span></a></p>
Jacob Scott<p>Today's diversion: turning my team's internal documentation wiki into a <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/QuartoPub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QuartoPub</span></a> book we can share with other folks in the organisation. </p><p>Ended up being about ~200 lines of <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/RStats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RStats</span></a> to translate Azure Devops' wiki file structure into something that Quarto can render. Seems to work pretty well currently when targeting a HTML book, but leaves something to be desired when rendering to docx.</p><p>Code (but not wiki content) is on GitHub: <a href="https://github.com/wurli/azure-wiki-to-quarto/blob/main/azure-wiki-to-quarto.R" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/wurli/azure-wiki-to</span><span class="invisible">-quarto/blob/main/azure-wiki-to-quarto.R</span></a></p>
David Schoch<p>Not sure if this already exist, but I created a <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/quartopub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>quartopub</span></a> filter which adds a domain preview to each link in a quarto html document. Might come in handy for accessibility.</p><p>📦 <a href="https://github.com/schochastics/quarto-url-peek" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/schochastics/quarto</span><span class="invisible">-url-peek</span></a></p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/rstats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>rstats</span></a></p>

I could find out myself by uninstalling and reainstalling, but I'm too lazy to mess up my setup.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/QuartoPub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QuartoPub</span></a></p>
