MatthiasWenn vom Fediverse gesprochen wird, dann meinen viele, die von Außen drauf schauen, wir wären eine Nische. Ein paar merkwürdige Gestalten, die sich vom Rest der Welt losgesagt haben. Privilegiert, weil ich mich nicht von einem Algorithmus domestizieren lasse, der mir sagt was mich zu interessieren hat. Privilegiert, weil ich mich nicht durchleuchten lasse. Privilegiert, weil ich jederzeit darüber entscheiden kann, wohin ich als nächstes gehen. Frei darin, meinen eigenen Node zu betreiben, weil ich mich ungerne einschränken lassen will. Frei in der Wahl der Software, die mir den Zugang zum Fediverse ermöglicht, weil es vollkommen egal ist, was ich verwende. Ich stehe weiterhin mit all denen im Kontakt, mit denen ich interagieren will.Nicht nur das. Es steht mir frei dieses Netzwerk mitzugestalten. Sei es in Form von Code, Dokumentation, kleinen FAQ und jede Menge Werbung, in denen die Vorteile des Fediverse dargestellt werden.
