This album completely baffled me - and still does! - because the song structures are so vastly different from all that I knew. While it's defined as <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/sophistipop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sophistipop</span></a>, it is significantly more acoustic and shows some <a href="https://titterdom.nl/tags/janglepop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>janglepop</span></a> elements. Their later album Steve McQueen doesn't quite have the same feel, I still have to understand that one.
