Successful candidates will join the research group “Symmetries in Gravity and Amplitudes” with the Quantum Gravity and Unified Theories division.</p><p>The PhD research will focus on mathematical structures of scattering amplitudes, more specifically amplitudes associated with Riemann surfaces as they appear in string theory.</p><p>The successful applicant will conduct their research projects at the AEI in Potsdam, and they will have to enrol and receive their PhD degree from the Humboldt University in Berlin.
