pʌblo :pico8:Work In Progress theme for my <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/pico8" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#pico8</a> tetris game. I'll have to try and capture at 60fps as I'm using a checkboard flicker effect on the background to give a translucent effect and it looks much cleaner than this gif. The flicker is jarring on large monitors but nice on a small handheld screen, though there will be the option to toggle it off in options.A lot of work has gone on under the hood to clean up code and try to get tokens in a better place. Hopefully I can add a few more themes!
