Another fantastically incorrect #OldTimeRadio pilot show preserved in @internetarchive amber -- "The Batman Mystery Club."
Robin, in a heavy Noo Yawk accent, introduces Batman to the gathered group of kids as "Bruce Wayne, otherwise known as The Batman!" Characters in the story call Dick Grayson "Robin" and Bruce Wayne, "Bruce." It's a spooky closed room murder story set in England, and has nothing to do with the caped crusader fighting crime.

This book discusses not just the radio episodes but also the source material and subsequent adaptations in other media.
Just like with all my other books, it's a quick read at a very low price. Too long for a blog post, too short to think of a paperback version so for now at least a Kindle exclusive.
@tomwsmf has officially rebooted this year's Cinnamon Bear podcast. CB was a daily children's serial, which was wildly popular in the Portland, Oregon area (Benson High School's KBPS-AM still airs the 85 year old series.) You can get it in your podcast feed here:

A few years ago, there was an #oldtimeradio podcaster who released an episode every Friday called the Friday Four-Pack. It was what it sounds like: four back-to-back episodes of one show. At some point they stopped doing it, and I’ve always missed it, and I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that if I want to hear it again I’ll have to do it for myself.
So here’s the inaugural Fediverse Friday Four Pack. It’s not a podcast; just a playlist of four episodes.

Looking up #oldtimeradio stories based on tales by one of my favorite #sciencefiction authors (and #newspaperman), Clifford D. Simak, I was surprised to find he had reported on a Project #Mastodon ... in 1956 on X Minus 1, and a year earlier as a novella in Galaxy Science Fiction magazine.
One hobby I forgot to put in my #Introduction, #OldTimeRadio. Anyone else into it? A lot of it can be found online!
