woodsiegirl<p>Can anyone with experience growing mushrooms advise? I'm trying to grow oyster mushrooms, guide said to wait until the growing medium (straw) is completely white, then cut into the bag to let the mushrooms fruit out. But while the mycelium hasn't totally colonised the straw, it's starting to grow on the top. Is that the mushrooms trying to fruit within the bag? Should I cut it open now, or leave it longer?</p><p><a href="https://glammr.us/tags/mushrooms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mushrooms</span></a> <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/MushroomGrowing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MushroomGrowing</span></a> <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/fungi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fungi</span></a> <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/FungiFriday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FungiFriday</span></a> <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/fungiverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fungiverse</span></a> <a href="https://glammr.us/tags/MushroomsOfMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MushroomsOfMastodon</span></a></p>
