Heidi Li Feldman<p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RobertaKaplan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RobertaKaplan</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ShawnCrowley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ShawnCrowley</span></a> have demonstrated the highest ideals of the American <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/legal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>legal</span></a> system. With tremendous skill and tenacity they used the law to demand and get civil justice for their client. Today, I am proud to be a scholar and teacher of American law, and specifically of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/tort" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tort</span></a> law (<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/defamation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>defamation</span></a>, the gravamen of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/EJeanCarroll" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EJeanCarroll</span></a> suit is a tort). May my torts students all do as much for justice as Kaplan and Crowley have. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/LawFedi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LawFedi</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/LawTeaching" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LawTeaching</span></a></p>
