Amit was forced to oversee “Operation Poisoned Candy” - part of Unit 504’s systematic collaboration with Middle East drug networks in the 1970s.</p><p>When Amit’s driver was caught with 19 kilograms of hashish and implicated him, military authorities feared exposure of Unit 504’s secrets. Rather than face trial, Amit was forcibly hospitalized and subjected to 11 electroshock treatments to silence him. He was later imprisoned for 7.5 years on espionage charges after attempting to expose the truth.</p><p>Journalist Yossi Melman, who covered Amit’s case for 30 years, describes how the security establishment buried the truth through strict censorship orders upheld by Israel’s Supreme Court. Amit observed: “We live in the State of Israel, but alongside it exists another state - the Intelligence State. They can enter anywhere and do anything they want.”</p><p>Research reveals Unit 504 systematically recruited major drug dealers as intelligence assets, including Mohammed Bro - “one of the world’s largest drug dealers” wanted by Interpol. GAZA-STADT – Einflussreiche Clans, Stämme und Gemeindevorsteher in Gaza haben sich zusammengetan, um eine unabhängige Initiative zu starten, die Hilfskonvois schützen und Chaos und Plünderungen verhindern soll. Das kommt einen Monat, nachdem die USA und Israel ein sogenanntes „Hilfsgüterverteilungsprojekt” gestartet haben, das es den israelischen Streitkräften ermöglicht, jeden Tag hungernde Palästinenser zu töten, die verzweifelt versuchen, Lebensmittel für ihre Familien zu beschaffen. Seit Beginn dieser „Hilfsgüterverteilungsfarce” haben israelische Streitkräfte mindestens 549 Menschen getötet.<p>

In ihren Äußerungen nannten Stammes- und Clanführer Abu Shabab namentlich und warnten, dass jeder, der mit ihm in Verbindung steht, hart bestraft werden würde. „[Israel] hat diesen entehrten und verurteilten Abu Shabab unterstützt, um <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Korruption" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Korruption</span></a> im Land zu verbreiten“, sagte Dr. Alaa El-Din Al-<a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Aklouk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Aklouk</span></a>, ein führendes Mitglied der Nationalen Versammlung palästinensischer Stämme, Clans und Familien. „Einige unserer Söhne und Familienmitglieder schließen sich Abu Shabab an und laufen herum, um Leute zu rekrutieren. Ihr Männer müsst eure Söhne und Jugendlichen ermahnen, sich von diesem schmutzigen Keim fernzuhalten, der von der Besatzung geschaffen wurde.“ In Anlehnung an Kommentare israelischer Beamter hat Shabab die Hamas beschuldigt, Hilfsgüterlastwagen geplündert zu haben, ohne dafür Beweise vorzulegen – eine Behauptung, die sowohl die UNO als auch internationale Organisationen zurückgewiesen haben.</p><p>
Nur wenige Stunden nach dem Start der Initiative von Stämmen und Gemeinden zur Sicherung der Hilfskonvois am Mittwoch gaben der israelische Ministerpräsident Benjamin <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Netanjahu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Netanjahu</span></a> und Verteidigungsminister Israel <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Katz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Katz</span></a> eine gemeinsame Erklärung ab, in der sie die Hamas des Diebstahls der Hilfsgüter beschuldigten und das israelische Militär anwiesen, dies zu verhindern.</p><p>

Die israelische Blockade brachte die gesamte Bevölkerung des Gazastreifens an den Rand einer Hungersnot, wobei unterernährte Kinder an Hunger starben.</p><p>
Am 27. Mai begann die von den <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/USA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>USA</span></a> und <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Israel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Israel</span></a> unterstützte Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) mit der Verteilung einer winzigen Menge an Hilfsgütern über vier militarisierte Verteilungszentren, drei in abgelegenen Teilen des südlichen Gazastreifens und eines in der Nähe von Wadi Gaza. Unabhängig vom GHF-System wurde auch einer kleinen Anzahl von UN-Hilfsgüterlastwagen, die hauptsächlich Mehl transportierten, sporadisch die Einfahrt gewährt. Die Gesamtmenge der verteilten Hilfsgüter reicht laut UN bei weitem nicht aus, um eine <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Massenhungersnot" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Massenhungersnot</span></a> abzuwenden.</p><p>
Israelische Truppen haben täglich sowohl an den </p><p>GHF-Verteilungsstellen als auch in deren Nähe und bei der Versammlung von Menschen in der Nähe der UN-Hilfstrucks mit Panzern und Quadcoptern auf die Menschen geschossen, sie beschossen und angegriffen. In den letzten vier Wochen wurden nach Angaben des Gesundheitsministeriums in Gaza mindestens 549 Palästinenser getötet und über 4.066 verletzt, in Vorfällen, die mittlerweile allgemein als „Hilfsgütermassaker“ bezeichnet werden.</p><p>
Die humanitäre Organisation Ärzte ohne Grenzen (bekannt unter ihrem französischen Akronym MSF) bezeichnete das Hilfsprogramm der GHF als „unter humanitären Vorwänden begangenen Massaker” und forderte dessen „sofortige Einstellung”. In einer Erklärung vom Freitag erklärte die Organisation, die GHF „erniedrige die Palästinenser absichtlich, indem sie sie zwinge, zwischen Hunger und dem Risiko, ihr Leben für minimale Versorgungsgüter zu riskieren, zu wählen”.</p><p>
