Dimitris Nakos, MSc<p><a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Introduction</span></a></p><p>I've studied <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/biology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>biology</span></a> and currently doing an MSc in <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Bioinformatics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bioinformatics</span></a> - <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/ComputationalBiology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ComputationalBiology</span></a>, both at University of Athens, Greece. </p><p>I started my thesis on <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/genomics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>genomics</span></a> (<a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/EvolutionaryGenomics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EvolutionaryGenomics</span></a> specifically) by means of <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/computationalbiology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>computationalbiology</span></a>. </p><p>The dream is to be able to combine <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/genomics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>genomics</span></a> with <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/math" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>math</span></a> and specifically <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/complexity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>complexity</span></a>, <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/complexsystems" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>complexsystems</span></a> and who knows, maybe even crazier math (<a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/FunctionalAnalsysis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FunctionalAnalsysis</span></a> I'm looking at you).</p>
