This is a tough trend to counter. I’d argue that it is a problem for all nostalgia based progression servers. We all want vanilla <a href="https://gamepad.club/tags/WorldOfWarcraft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WorldOfWarcraft</span></a> or base version Norrath in <a href="https://gamepad.club/tags/EverQuestII" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EverQuestII</span></a>. But once you’re four expansions in, it always feels like the luster is gone, and you’re doing content that originally you “took a break during”.</p>
