At the broker, I was looking for paintings and other furniture for my estate "Palace".. :0))
I bought two paintings and some tables and chairs.. It's so big. I'll probably make a banquet hall, find a dozen of the same tables. Patience..

I think I haven't played for at least 5 years, maybe even more. My characters are still there. I had to go to the options and change servers to find them though. (US or EU).
The Great Divide: I have a lot of quests there.
Getting my bearings back.. :0)
So not sure why, but my troll feels like my most festive toon.
@massivelyop @skro While I agree, I certainly appreciate the #LOTRO and #EverQuest2 approach where your property is still there, you just owe back taxes. Of course, in both games, my housing is modest so the money isn't that much to open it back up.
@massivelyop It’s bittersweet, but IMO #LOTRO has been consumed by the DBG release lifecycle. They will be another “yearly expac, new content, but no new features” MMO from this point forward. Like #EverQuest and #EverQuest2.
It started back when the price of the top tier bundles started going for $120 USD, and they are finally falling into the same dev cadence.
Granted, it’s better than being offline, but I'm never excited about “just" new content.

Palia First Impressions: A Promising Start to a Social MMO Adventure
If you were waiting for the second coming of Free Realms, Palia ain't it. But, if you hate adventuring and love gathering and crafting in your MMO of choice, you might just find a new home in Palia.
Interestingly enough, she actually started out life as a Drow. Weird, I know. But before she became a person in her own right, she was one of a small list of characters I made in #EverQuest2 where her name was much more elven and she was a Drow.

I'm a retired novelist who adores story-driven games (PC, PS5, Xbox) and roleplay. You can find several of my social gaming handles in my bio. I founded and help run a roleplay guild in #WowClassic, and I post a lot of stuff about my current playthroughs of various games including:
#TFW you meet another game designer who says they loved the game you used to work on and wants to hear all about your work on it and so you have a nice zoom chat and it turns out her fondest memories are playing the game with her dad, and then you do a little math on the last expansion she remembers and her age and realize she would have been maybe 5 years old at the time...
And that's when I crumbled to dust and blew away, RIP me
