This miniature is around 15 centimeters long, and easy to assemble. Thanks to the polls the other day, I could decide to paint with this Oriental blue. Retro Goth BunnyFollowing up one legendary arcade game with another, we have the seafood shmup, Darius. Specifically, the Extra version.Darius is famous for its ultrawide display, at an aspect ratio of 4:1, which is longer than the ultrawide monitors of today. This was achieved with 3 CRTs and some fancy mirror usage in the arcades, or so I read.This isn't my first time playing Darius and to be frank, my first impressions of it were just, meh.Being one of those old school shmups, it suffers from Gradius syndrome, since it uses checkpoints and has total power loss on death.<a href="https://urusai.social/tags/Darius" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Darius</a>

RetroWizzardI can't afford the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Darius" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Darius</a> Burst EX <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/arcade" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#arcade</a> cabinet (obviously), so I'm trying to get as close to that experience as possible. I use the version for <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Nintendo</a> Switch, which is connected to an old beamer via an HDMI to VGA converter. For audio I use the JBL Flip6 via Bluetooth. As a controller I use the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/8BitDo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#8BitDo</a> arcade stick (my favourite).
