But I noticed I have 262 followers. ( I don't even post) </p><p>On closer inspection, 258 of those are bots. It's like Ashley Madison before that got destroyed.</p>

yianiris<p>Most of the admins' replies on the limit was "it is too hard to configure for non-default, and it reverts back to default after each upgrade", which to me if it was true, sounds like a packaging issue or inablility to oonfigure the build (with rust I wouldn't be surprised). Maybe they are running mastodon on windows, who knows, so to engage in /etc/ configuration is pointless.</p><p>I am not a server owner because I can't afford it.
