Enfin - #printemps! Endlich #Frühling! Finally, #spring!
There are a several hundred of these, so plenty yet to come, and they make me so happy. The only ones I like more are the tardy Delnashaughs, but I only have about 10 of those, so this is really the last full wave.
Love this #daffodil variety that has three small trumpets instead of one large one. They create sprays of #springtime.
There's something reassuring about seeing crocuses bursting forth from between fallen leaves. It makes me feel good. I always like to lie down in the leaves next to them when I take photographs and experience that renewal on a more intimate scale .
"Crocus fields forevah..."
The crocus carpets are in full force in my friend's garden. He must have 100s all over his yard.
Got a bunch of spring projects to get going on so my SM presence will be sporadic for a couple months. See ya here and there.
Some call it weed, for me it is one of my favorite wildflowers in spring - dandelions. I love the bright yellow flowers and the leaves are a delicious and healthy salad.

Every year I replant our tulips bulbs in the pots left dormant between Summer vegetable and dahlia planting and spring bulbs.
I love the bright colors that welcome me home as I come down the driveway.

Blue skies today so I retook the daffodils pic with the willow oak (Quercus phellos) in the background.
Which pic is better? https://mastodon.world/@jblue/114179925692540009
I ran out of the house early this morning to visit the ATM for some cash, and to dash to the grocery store while it was quiet.
Right next to my bank is a little garden curated by the local garden club.
The flowers stopped me for long enough to appreciate their beauty in the morning light.
This seems like a good time to let myself be distracted by random beauty that no manner of politics has been able to destroy.
I love this time of year with flowers demonstrating that we can survive the storms.

These small little daffodils growing near the back entrance of the @maynoothuni north campus bring me a little smile on my walk to work this time of year #bloomscrolling
