I use both in my SSID's. Yes, I know that my neighbors can see that I'd rather Google / Microsoft don't scan my SSID's, but I see that as a good thing and hopefully (according to their statements) it gets MS/Goog to skip my SSID's.</p><p>I wish there was a way I could give access to Beacon but not Google/Microsoft. Zaraz po zamknięciu MLS na horyzoncie pojawił się BeaconDB, który szybko zyskał sympatię byłych użytkowników MLSu. Najlepsza część? #beaconDB is a public domain wireless #geolocation database. It was started because Mozilla stopped their location services.

In the months since the beginning the community collected more than:

18,944,124 networks
610,632 beacons
992,115 towers
in 151 countries

This shows the power of a collaborative #community and #opensource.
