In honour of World Wombat Day, here is a repost of some wombats I have had the pleasure of meeting.
As it's Wombat Day, here's a picture I took at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania, back in January this year. I was fortunate to see a Wombat with her baby.
"Wow that piece of wood looks like a wombat."
And it was.

There were two wombats sometimes chasing each other as they would chew on blades of grass. We spent maybe 30 or 40 minutes standing there, watching them.
