Chris Koerner<p>I made a thing. It allows you to see how many media requests files you have uploaded have received on Wikimedia Commons. </p><p>It's a small python script. You can provide a username, date range, and a number of files to check. It uses the MediaWiki and mediarequests APIs to create a report as a .csv file.</p><p>I'd appreciate any constructive feedback. Not sure I'll work on it more than I have, but thought I'd share. </p><p><a href="https://github.com/ckoerner/Wikimedia-Commons-Vanity-Stats/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/ckoerner/Wikimedia-</span><span class="invisible">Commons-Vanity-Stats/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://xoxo.zone/tags/wikimedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wikimedia</span></a> <a href="https://xoxo.zone/tags/wikimedia_commons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wikimedia_commons</span></a></p>

Lupposofi<p>Why is it SO hard to think critically and acquire true beliefs constantly? Jonathan Harker<p>Thanks to a small grant from Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand, I have been able to get professional photographs taken of several rare instruments not well covered by good, freely-licensed photographs usable in Wikipedia articles. First cab off the rank, the bass trumpet, which now has a beautiful lead image of NZSO trombonist Matt Allison's Thein instrument.<br><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_trumpet" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_tru</span><span class="invisible">mpet</span></a><br><a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/Wikipedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Wikipedia</span></a> <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/WANZ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WANZ</span></a> <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/wikimedia_commons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wikimedia_commons</span></a></p>
