Yearly reminder: May Day is the real worker's day, the one rooted in the history of labour activism. "Labour Day" is the made-up holiday they never tell you is even allegedly about *labour* and was, instead, invented to distract you from May Day.

#AI was never made to serve the people. It was made to cut costs for corporations. The valuation of OpenAI and its ilk was never calculated based on the amount of good and tangible wealth it could produce. Rather it’s based entirely, as if colluded on behind sealed doors, on the amount of money corporations would save on payroll, taxes, overtime, bonuses, benefits and insurance.
