I have posted about this before, but wanted to re-iterate how much in love I am with FediAlgo:
I’m currently on paternity leave so have around half an hour per day for social. That is of course far from enough to keep up with a chronological timeline like mine, and previously with Mastodon the FOMO was real.
Now I go to FediAlgo and I feel I got an overview over what’s interesting in that day. It’s also immensely customisable, but the defaults do a decent job for me.

Likes don't show up in the timelines of the accounts that follow you.
The only way for people to find new and cool content and accounts to follow is by you and I #boosting their content.

Dieses Jahr wird alles besser, schon alleine wenn man den unausweichlichen News in der #Timeline zum Richtungswechsel von #zuckerberg verfolgt - noch ein Grund mehr, warum wir wirklich froh sind, uns für das #Fediverse entschieden zu haben.
So können wir in unserer kleinen Bürstenfabrik vielleicht auch mal blaue 'Trollbürsten' herstellen, wenn bei Meta der Schmutz nicht mehr rausgebracht wird
