A late 19th century blonde sandstone tenement building on Kelvin Drive in the northwest of Glasgow.
I don't know quite what was creating this silhouette on a window of a Glasgow tenement that I came across last night, but whatever it is, it sure looks like they're planning something!

Tonight's sunset over the tenements at Partick Cross in Glasgow.
Red sandstone corner tenement at the junction between Crow Road and Dumbarton Road in the Partick area of Glasgow, with a former bank branch on the ground floor, faced with harder-wearing granite .
1850s Classical style blonde sandstone tenement on Claremont Street in the West End of Glasgow.
This is probably the best example I've come across of how to fill a tenement gap site with a sympathetically designed newer replacement. Built in the late 1980s, it's on the corner of Woodlands Road and West End Park Street.
The second of the two new gable end murals in the Linthouse area of Glasgow. Situated on Burghead Place, it was created by Gera1. It's based on an easly overlooked fleeting childhood moment.

John Cunnimgham's 1890s gushet tenement on the corner of Duke Street and Hunter Street in the East End of Glasgow. I love the curved fascia above the ground floor commecial premises of this tenement as it gives the feeling that you're looking up at the prow of a great ship.

Gushet tenement on the corner of Queen Margaret Drive and Buckingham Terrace in the West End of Glasgow. Designed by J.T. Rochead, it was built in 1858.
This is the Ruthven Lane Cat in the west end of Glasgow. It's high on a wall on the back of an old tenement building, and it really doesn't look like it belongs there. It's a bit of a mystery as to who put it there, and why.
John Thomson's Classical style tenement building at Bridgeton Cross on the East End of Glasgow. It was built in 1871, meaning it's probably the oldest remaining building at these crossroads.
The rather fabulous dome and finial at the top of John Cummingham's 1896 Bridgeton Cross Mansions tenement building in the east end of Glasgow.
1870s blonde sandstone tenement on Argyle Street in Glasgow at dusk.

A classical style 1880s blonde sandstone tenement on Buckingham Street in the West End of Glasgow. It was probably designed by Horatio K. Bromhead. I love the repeating pattern of the windows and sills on this facade, which is broken by the single column of bay windows at the right hand end.
