In his post taking aim at #Canada, #Trump again cited a figure he framed as a “subsidy” the #UnitedStates gives its neighbor. The number he gave, $200 billion, appears to be a reference to the US’ #TradeDeficit with Canada. But that is vastly inflated: Last year, the #US had a $63.3 billion trade deficit with Canada, according to US official data. The US ran a trade #surplus with Canada if you excludes Canadian #oil exported to America.

Okay so, one of the local radio clubs got these Avaya things.
Outside of them doing VOIP and that one dude reportedly has two controllers for them, I don't really know anything about them.

Four G450's and three G430's.
Is there anything useful one could do with these, especially if they don't have any Avaya phones and don't plan on getting any?

Or should we just part these out?

Slide-out rack rails (not a shelf - actual rails on bearings)
Two spare power supplies - I never needed them, but just in case.
BIOS, Firmware, and iLO are updated to the most recent versions I could get ahold of.

This was my fileserver. I've upgraded to something bigger. It's fully functional

There is no #US #trade deficit with the European Union.

There is a deficit in shipped products.

But trade is more than just shipping items. A lot of the trade is currently for services. Examples are hosting, advertising, software such as Gmail, online consulting + hundreds of other digital services.

When you consider those, the trade with Europe is not a #deficit but a #surplus.

But Trump wants Americans to be angry. Truth doesn't matter. It is about riling up the people.

Old VHF amplifier.
Pot cores seem to point towards low-VHF TV instead of broadcast FM, but who knows?

By the time I revisited this one, somebody had liberated the VHF power transistors from it, so I could not verify their type.

But other products from this same company (Laatu-Antenni Oy) have used 2N4427 in the past.
A nice VHF power transistor capable of 1watt in class-C.
