Oliver⚡I've just updated my <a href="https://microhive.social?t=snac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Snac</a> instance to version 2.79 👍 🎉<br>You don't know Snac? But you should: <a href="https://codeberg.org/grunfink/snac2" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://codeberg.org/grunfink/snac2</a><br>A simple, minimalistic and well documented <a href="https://microhive.social?t=activitypub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ActivityPub</a> instance server written in C, no database needed, totally JavaScript-free, no cookies either, not much bullshit.<br><br><a href="https://microhive.social?t=snac2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#snac2</a> <a href="https://microhive.social?t=fediverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#fediverse</a><br>

samTime for another blog post, about hosting a fediverse instance on my ancient Raspberry Pi. Jonathan RollansI figured a tool to migrate across federated networks would be technically possible, but I never would’ve guessed it would be available so soon! Well, it’s not available yet, but I’m glad to see this is happening!<br><br>And I think it’ll work with <a href="https://jrollans.com/social?t=snac2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#snac2</a> without much effort, if any effort at all!<br><br>Bounce - by @anewsocial<br><br><a href="https://blog.anew.social/bounce-a-cross-protocol-migration-tool/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://blog.anew.social/bounce-a-cross-protocol-migration-tool/</a><br>

I don't know for sure, and maybe I'll have time to figure out exactly what mysterious thing I'm expected to know in order to update the software, but in general, if it can't be recreated easily, programmatically, I don't want it.<br><br>So perhaps I'll try a <a class="hashtag" href="https://zia.io/tag/snac2" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#snac2</a> migration soon, when I'm not traveling :)

Betula<p>Many speculated that <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Betula" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Betula</span></a> can be turned into a microblogging server easily. It's true, one only has to hide the bookmarked URL, writing the text in the bookmark description.</p><p>Paying attention to the rising popularity of microblogs around the world, we've decided to make Betula into such an application. The next version, v2.0.0, will be the start of the new era. We'll focus on compatibility with the leading platforms such as <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/honk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>honk</span></a> and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/snac2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>snac2</span></a> first.</p>
