#Today I witnessed a very unpleasant #event. On the #c4rex #gateway, where I redirect non-#IPFS #clients, even from the Technotramp.com domain, #RPlayer was loading very #sloowly. However, I have two #pieces of #good #news:
1.) The RPlayer #bootloader handled it. (in about 30 to 40 #minutes)
2.) There is another #possibility

So it's not a #problem to #write an #application in a completely #different #way and using other #technologies that will use the #data from these #archives and #work much #better than #RPlayer itself, but the #multimedia #data will #always be #fine.

That is #absolutely #true. The rplayer.core.js #file (which can be run separately) even uses #jQuery, which is a weakness in this regard. But there's another level to this. #RPlayer serves primarily as an #archive. If I know the #IPFS #CID, I can easily deduce the address of the rplayer.conf.js file, which contains all the #information and #paths to the #media...

As far as the #IPFS community is concerned, I feel the same as you. I'll probably really be #one of the #first. #RPlayer is available for #free, but the #problem is that it's hard for a non-technical #person to make their own #player. You need to program some #tools, but I'll do it.
