as a kid i was fascinated by cyber scifi, starting with asimov's robots series. today, i understand two things: a) it should have been scarier, much scarier, and b) without realising it (at least not in the beginning), i was fascinated with the humanistic component of it: how humans anthropomorph(ize) their creations and search for human in it… to eventually find it there and enslave.
