Time to say a few words about an elephant in the room - laziness of Mastodon users who either publish on Twitter and automatically repost here or publish on Mastodon but don't care about setting replies to Unlisted (Visible for all, but opted-out of discovery features).
Both these groups spam feed with their posts, or rather follow-ups to the initial entry.
Is it an issue? Well, with one or two replies it's not that important. But when I see whole thread in my feed, with initial post and 29 replies, in reverse chronological order, I'm far from being happy to say the least.
This is unreadable, makes using Mastodon far less comfortable / much harder and last but not least - it make me think "do I need to follow this guy who don't give a flying flamingo about his audience?"
So, dear Mastodon users, be creators, not creatures.
Protip: If you love creating entries significantly longer than average SMS / Twitter post, find server with much more generous character limit than your current one.
