Strictly speaking, CIR stands for “colour-infrared” and is also known as “false-colour” imagery. It means that (at least) one of the visible-light channels red, green, blue has been swapped with an infrared channel/band. 🔗 <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_color#False_color" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_color#False_color</a> However, unlike remote-sensing earth observation satellites, the DMC-FZ100 does not have a dedicated IR channel, simply because it's a regular second-hand camera whose previous owner had dismounted the manufacturer-installed <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/IR?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#IR</a> filter. Instead, the channels red, green, blue are each sensitive to a range of IR wavelengths, which means that all three bands capture a little IR in addition to their respective visible-light colour. PixelStreet 🇺🇦Oha, Vegetation auf dem Mars! (Also, wenn ich raten müssten jedenfalls… 😉) 1/800 s | f2,8 | 25 mm | ISO 125 | DMC-FZ100 Den aufgeschraubten Infrarot-Filter habe ich auf 530 nm eingestellt, sodass neben infraroten Wellenlängen auch rotes und grünes Licht vom Sensor aufgenommen wurde. Deswegen ist es auch kein reines <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/IR?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#IR</a>-Foto, sondern eine <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/Falschfarbaufnahme?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Falschfarbaufnahme</a>. Im weitesten Sinne könnte man auch von einer <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/PseudoCIR?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#PseudoCIR</a>-Aufnahme sprechen. Streng genommen meint CIR, dass der <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/Infrarot?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Infrarot</a>-Kanal rot dargestellt wird, der Rotkanal grün und der Grünkanal blau.
