Dziś przychodzę z polecajką i spoilerem naraz. Nie wiem, czy pamiętacie o takiej grupie muzycznej z przełomu wieków, Placebo ;) Z różnych dziwnych powodów jest to dla mnie bardzo ważny zespół, choć nie słuchałam go jakoś szczególnie intensywnie. No ale "Sleeping with Ghosts" (2003) to klasyk tej epoki. I zasłużenie! (Choć akurat moją ulubioną piosenką Placebo jest b-side z tej płyty).
Brian Molko o albumie mówił m.in. tak: "I'm looking back to what's happened in my past emotional decade, trying to understand it. Trying to exorcise the ghosts and the demons of relationships past. It's the old cliché of it being therapeutic but it does work for me in that way." Co sygnalizuje, że duchy to nie tylko postaci z opowieści niesamowitych o folkloru, ale też bardzo potężna metafora :)

Ich verstehe ja, dass einige Menschen hier Nachfrage erzeugen. Jedoch sehe ich auch Apotheken in der Pflicht, hier Aufklärung zu machen und nicht auch noch mit teuren Placebos Geld zu machen und/oder in Menschen falsche Hoffnungen zu wecken.
