@kenney I've some personal experience with this. I remember a time when I used to play #Nova a lot on my father's phone. Nova was the epitome of single-player FPS for me, and still is. Today however, it is nothing but a long lost media. No matter what I tried, I can't either find all 3 Nova game files or it is not compatible with my devices. Today, all I've are the gameplays on the #internet.

I got it! I know this is a cheap way to do it, but I think I got it. Did an overlay with the wiki map, and matches almost perfectly. The highlithed spot in the overlay is visible in the shot I got.
Pretty cool for no effort lol.

The new classical #nova V462 Lupi (=Nova Lupi 2025, 15h08m03.27s -40°08'29.6" J2000.0) imaged at about 03:45 UTC on the 19th. Discovered a few days ago, it's probably near maximum light now. I estimated its visual magnitude at around +5.4 tonight. Low in the sky from this latitude, but not hard to find with binoculars.

Es gibt einen "Blaze Star" -> T Coronae Borealis (T CrB)
Sie ist vm Typ her eine wiederkehrende Nova (Recurrent Nova). Ihr findet sie im Sternbild Corona Borealis (Nördliche Krone)
Und jetzt kommt es!
Sie wird etwa alle 80 Jahre plötzlich hell (zu einer Nova) – zuletzt 1946, vorher 1866.
Das bedeutet, wir könnten jeden Tag im Jahr 2025 (okay, könnte auch nächstes Jahr erst passieren - die Vorhersagen sind etwas vage) einen neuen Stern am Himmel entdecken!
Er geht nun im April wenige Stunden nach Sonnenuntergang am ostnordöstlichen Himmel auf und ist so lichtschwach, dass es nur mit sehr lichtstarken Teleskopen gesehen werden könnte.
Beim Blaze Star handelt sich um ein Doppelsternsystem mit einem Weißen Zwerg, der Materie von seinem Begleitstern (hier ein Roter Riese) absaugt und wenn genug Wasserstoff auf der Oberfläche des Weißen Zwergs angesammelt ist, zündet eine thermonukleare Explosion – das ist dann die Nova.
Wenn der Stern zur Nova wird, wird er so hell wie der Polarstern ungefähr und einige Tage zu sehen sein.
Macht ein Foto von der Nördlichen Krone (Corona Borealis) und dann schaut alle paar Tage, ob da ein Punkt ist, der auf dem Foto nicht war.
Und ihr seht eine Nova!

NVIDIA still refuses open sourcing drivers - Red Hat has been developing open NOVA -driver for the Linux kernel 
NVIDIA drivers on Linux here is a co-op scenario:
◉Userland: Vulkan / OpenGL handling (these drivers wished be opened)
◉Kernel side: framebuffer / computations (these are open now)
NVK (Vulkan) is also progressing (part of Mesa) - eventually replacing Nouveau (the original open solution for NVIDIA).

Just watched an episode of #NOVA on #PBS called "Extreme Airport Engineering" about the remodeling of #LaGuardiaAirport (LGA).
The last time I flew into LGA was in the 80's on #EasternAirlines (defunct) flights from/to Boston.
Pretty impressive what they did. Makes me want to fly there even though I really hate the idea of flying anywhere now.
