🇪🇺 #Nyx is compatible with #Ariane6, #Falcon9, #Neutron, #H3, and #GSLV. The "#Bikini" reentry demonstrator was intended to demonstrate the company's #reentry technology. Unfortunately, #Ariane6's upper stage failed on its deorbit burn, so the Bikini capsule remains stuck in space. The current timeline for Nyx's debut is 📆 2028 arstechnica.com/space/2024/11/

Within the dusty cloud left behind by #supernova 1987A, the most famous stellar explosion in modern history, astronomers have found compelling evidence for a long-sought #neutron #star.

The findings are part of a 37-year-old quest to determine what happened in the aftermath of the closest supernova in nearly 400 years and could provide insights into how a neutron star behaves mere decades after its birth.

Science News · JWST spies hints of a neutron star left behind by supernova 1987ASigns of highly ionized atoms in dusty clouds at SN 1987A’s explosion site suggest a powerful source of X-rays — likely a neutron star — lurks within.

The Jellyfish #Nebula extends its tentacles from the bright arcing ridge of emission left of center.

The cosmic jellyfish is part of bubble-shaped #supernova remnant IC 443, the expanding debris cloud from a massive star that exploded.

Like its cousin in astronomical waters, the Crab Nebula supernova remnant IC 443 is known to harbor a #neutron #star -- the remnant of the collapsed stellar core.

@intengineering 📆 Mar 27, 2023 #SpaceX charges $67 million 💵 per #Falcon 9 launch, and Spice said #RocketLab aims to match this on a cost-per-kilogram basis. #Neutron, which will have a slightly lower payload capacity of 28,660 lbs (13,000 kg) to #LEO, will target a "$50 million to $55 million 💵 launch service cost". Neutron is still on track for its first launch 🚀 next year. interestingengineering.com/inn

@NewSpaceEconomy 📆 June 6, 2022 #RocketLab : when #Neutron begins offering commercial #LaunchServices sometime in the future, #Falcon 9 will not be the only competition Neutron will be compared against by customers deciding on a launch service provider. Of particular note, #SpaceX’s #Starship, a super heavy lift launch vehicle, will be available for commercial service years before Neutron. Starship’s payload capacity and cost per kilogram will be orders of magnitude better than Neutron. newspaceeconomy.ca/2023/06/22/

I just found these yesterday on arXiv and really haven't vetted them much. There's more out there, mostly from the last decade or so. Not sure why I couldn't find this before -- I tried multiple times this year to find this stuff and now a week after I posted here I find a bunch of stuff. Go figure...

Some of it is about non-locality and some also on temporal non-causality like disordered cause/effect. (Some authors use the term acausality instead of non-causality.)

Also, there's a prof at U. Miss. (Luca Bombelli, www.phy.olemiss.edu/~luca/) with some nice reference lists:

Hope this useful.
