A new Master & Commander movie is in the works! My interest is piqued because the novels by Patrick O'Brian are Historical Fiction par excellence. They are my gold standard, & nothing else that I have read has even come close to the immersive experience they offer. It looks like they'll be starting from book 1 this time.
