Mister L released a trailer in 2007 for a new Maniac Mansion Mania episode filled with references to the Police Quest series.
Unfortunately, this episode was never released.
Sorry, the trailer is in German.

Maniac Mansion from @grumpygamer is an integral part of my retro gaming cave. And yes, there is an Edna in the window.
TIL there was an Apple II version of Maniac Mansion.

The Macintosh version of Maniac Mansion, i.e. the one included as an Easter Egg in Day of the Tentacle, running in the development version of ScummVM.
There is not yet any user friendly way of setting this up, but it's encouraging to see that the Macintosh GUI seems to work as it should. I'm sure there are bugs, but there's plenty of time to worry about those.
Actually there are two posters included. You have to turn over the Maniac Mansion poster to get the other one of Steve Purcell's Edison Family Portrait.

Happy 37th Anniversary, Maniac Mansion (first release for the C64) !
Here's my unpacked @limitedrungames box!

@lucasarts_places Among the things in the prototype cartridge Nintendo had LucasArts change in the final version: a message about the tentacle bed being covered in sucker slime if a kid tries to "use" it!
6 months after everyone else, I finally got my copies of Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken!
I had to contact Limited Run Games support several times to find out what was going on…
I don't dare open the boxes

Remember kids: never ever put a hamster in the microwave!
It‘s never a bad idea to play a bit of Maniac Mansion!

This week content curation has a lot of EGA goodness (and even some CGA love). Maybe most people don't care about things like these, but I kinda love them
Maniac Mansion Commodore 64 version on the left, Maniac Mansion Amiga version on the right
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔノ☆ LucasArts love
Just in case you haven't seen it yet, I once uploaded this unused animation here for Night of the Meteor.
Next on my to do list, I'll make similar Green feeding animations for all the other Maniac Mansion kids.
I've improved my animation a little. Jeff can now turn his head to the bucket and the Mona Lisa has a different proportion that fits better on the wall.
Thanks for all the likes!
It's encouraging to see that my last animation turned out so well!
Ask me about LucasArts ʕ•ᴥ•ʔノ☆
(extra happies if it's about Zak McKracken or Maniac Mansion)
It's so late but I didn't want the day to end without more Zak McKracken shenanigans
Another LucasArts in-game reference I love is the Maniac Mansion poster in Zak McKracken
This is in Lou's Pawn Shop, you get to buy your lotto ticket here!
Moar Zak McKracken shenanigans
Everyone's favorite LucasArts in-game reference between Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken
You find the chainsaw in Maniac Mansion, and then a year later the can of fuel in Zak McKracken. And as a bonus, another Zak reference about it in Maniac Mansion
