Jan Mayen<p>Am seidenen Faden!</p><p>Vorhin eine Fotosession an einem Raupenfaden gemacht.</p><p>Der Faden ging vom Baum ca. 2m runter bis kurz vor'm Boden und zig Raupen bewegten sich nach oben. Zum Teil haben sie sich dabei überholt.</p><p>Ist das per Design so? Marcus RimpelDer Südliche Schwalbenschwanz hat ein sehr zerstückeltes Vorkommen von Südfrankreich über Italien bis in die Türkei. Eine Besonderheit der Art ist die Ruhehaltung mit geöffneten Flügeln, was sie in der bunt blühenden Garrigue aber nicht unbedingt besser auffindbar macht. In der Aktivitätsphase sind sie ununterbrochen am Flattern und setzen sich fast nie.<br>

Marcus RimpelFüe die Langsornigen Hundswurze war ich Ende April auf Sardinien zwar etwas spät dran, einzelne Pflanzen gab es dennoch in perfektem Zustand. Die hier stand dann auch noch inmitten eines weißen Blütenmeers.<br>

Marcus RimpelDie Lockerblütige Hundswurz steht meist mittendrin im höheren Gras, da sie feuchtere Standorte bevorzugt. Und an denen hat das Gras bis zur Blütezeit im April/Anfang Mai dann schon ausreichend Gelegenheit gehabt, die Orchideen zu verdecken. Hier war es mal anders, Glück gehabt. Am Hang war die Begleitvegetation noch nicht so dicht.<br>

Marcus RimpelEin Cevennen-Apollo im Angesicht der ersten goldenen Sonnenstrahlen. Gibt nicht viele mir bekannte Stellen, an denen man diese Bergfalter so bequem zu Sonnenauf- oder -untergang fotografieren kann, wie auf den weiläufigen Steppenplateaus im Zentralmassiv. Auf Gotland klappt sowas noch gelegentlich, oder im Jura, sonst sind immer die Berge im Weg und die Sonne hat schon/noch zu viel Kraft, wenn sie denn auftaucht oder verschwindet.<br>
