#makeShitMonday, #Lego edition...

I've tried several times to grow succulents in this one particular window, but it just doesn't get enough sun - they get all leggy trying to reach more light. The African violet I had in that window thrived for several years, but it crashed (probably my fault for not repotting it!), so I had these wonderful ceramic mushroom plant-pots from a local potter... Sitting there empty making me feel guilty.

Lego to the rescue!! I bought a used Lego succulents kit on eBay (A++, all three books and all pieces) and finally got off my tail and put it all together. The individual succulents came in their own bases, which I had to immediately dismantle to fit them into the pots... And they didn't all fit... But most of them do, and the last straggler gets to hang out on the windowsill. 😃

Yay for small wins! 🪴

This weeks #Lego #FossilFriday is #Wintonotitan

In 1974, Keith Watts found a left shoulder blade, much of the forelimbs, a number of back, hip, and tail vertebrae, part of the right hip, ribs, chevrons, and unidentifiable fragments.

These fossils were given the name Austrosaurus sp, Austrosaurus being the only named sauropod from Australia at the time.

In 2009, Hocknull et al. found these fossils differed enough from Austrosaurus to give them a new name, Wintonotitan wattsi.

This week for #Fossilfriday we have another #Guess that #Lego #Fossil.

This one I would rate as easy. This Australian sauropod is named after where it was found.

Reminder: hide your answer behind a content warning. This will allow others to guess without a hint. I will post the answer tomorrow (and to anyone who guesses correctly).

Looking for advice on Bricklink Studio and brick bending.

I'm looking to create instructions for a ring of 3x1 with barrels. In this image, I've bent the first sub-module at 10° for the outside 2 bricks. When I try to add another module (using the connect tool) I get the ghosted bricks shown.

Should I ignore that? Is there a trick to making it accept it? I've done some searching on 'bent brick' and 'ring' for a Bricklink tutorial, haven't found anything.
