I was able to take my sleep meds for the first time in a couple of months. Fell asleep before 10pm. But now it’s 3:17am and I’ve been up since 2. So clearly they’re working well! #insomnia returns.

Yep #LDN is a MIRACLE for my stupid early waking #insomnia from #MECFS

(I’ve always taken it in the morning so maybe if I took it at night like the Internet says I’m supposed to it wouldn’t work this way, but damn. This stuff is fantastic when it’s fresh!)

If anyone is reading this who could possibly explain why this stuff doesn’t work for a full 90 days if I buy a bottle of 90 capsules I would be so fascinated to learn because the pharmacy humors me but I’m not sure they believe me because they don’t have any explanation why the tub of powder can sit on their shelf but as soon as they make it into capsules the clock starts.

I slept until 6:15 today. I probably should have stayed asleep longer but my little cat wanted attention.

Please. Someone. Please recommend a sleeping pill that works for early waking #insomnia.

Dayvigo rocks me about a half hour after I take it, like when it hits I know it and I am glad to be horizontal. But it just makes me feel high.

Ambien was meh. Timazepam is a nah because I take oxycodone. Melatonin gives me nausea and headaches.

LDN worked perfectly until perimenopause. Now it’s like I’m immune to LDN (and Adderall, my ADHD symptoms are out of control. FML

Anyone try Dayvigo for #insomnia?
The doctor had me terrified of it. “It’s a controlled substance, but it’s probably OK. It has a 55 hour half life so it may be sadating the next day too.”

So I was scared. I cut the sleep pill in half. I put a barricade at the end of my hallway so I wouldn’t go down the stairs in my sleep because it warns of sleep eating like people do on Ambien.

I asked my neighbor if she could please call me when she wakes up if she doesn’t hear any signs of life from me over here and if I don’t answer the phone to please call the landlord so they can tell my emergency contact I’m probably not OK.

I even picked up my room a little extra before bed just in case paramedics had to come in here to drag my body out.

SO MUCH DRAMA FOR A MEDICATION THAT ROCKED ME FOR 15 MINUTES.

It was the weirdest thing, about a half hour after I took it I was like oh wow I get why she warned me I am high as hell. Then 15 minutes later, nothing. I took the second half, felt punched in the head a half hour later, than nothing.
