@brauner Yeah, I was pointing that out in a podcast earlier today. I don't really have a problem with the likes of Kata or Apple's new thing, they're cool technology, but calling a VM running an OCI rootfs a container is kinda missing the point of containers.
That's why when we finally implement this in #Incus too, it's going to show up as "virtual-machine (app)" similar to how our OCI containers show up as "container (app)".
Trying to keep things clear so user expectations can be aligned.
In this week's #Incus live stream, I'll be adding USB/IP client support to Incus OS!
Yes, that's a pretty niche feature, but I'm actively relying on it at home, so I need it's a blocker for my own use of Incus OS :)

Just saw the new Incus release announcement and took the chance to donate to @stgraber for his excellent container management software (which also runs metalhead.club and trashserver.net!)
In this week's #incus livestream, I'll keep extending our providers logic to also handle server registration and initial trust. Note that this stream is a bit earlier than usual. https://youtube.com/live/C6gEwxXfDtE?feature=share

The company behind #TrueNAS is looking for a Go software engineer to work, amongst other things, on their #Incus integration!

And finally submitted the code to get the #Incus agent working on Windows!
There are a few limitations which we expect to see go away over time, but it works and is pretty easy to get going.
#Incus 6.12 is out!
This release comes with network address sets, memory hotplug for virtual machines, redesigned logging and more!
