Mathzy<p>Opened my first bottle of homebrew beer. It's been bottle-conditioning for a week, so a bit early to be in its prime.</p><p>Actually not bad. A little too bitter (so will cut down on the hops) and not quite enough depth of flavour for a ruby ale.</p><p>Still - as a first effort - I'm pleasantly surprised. Mute Dog Brewing<p>Granddad's Saison, fermented with wild yeast captured from juniper berries foraged on Grandad's Bluff near La Crosse, WI.</p><p>It has a really nice fruity character, some funk in the aroma, and really low phenols (maybe none but I don't trust myself in this regard).
