Ich stehe kurz davor, mir eine gemanagte #Nextcloud zu holen. Speicherplatz 1TB.
Wichtig ist mir, dass ich selber aus dem App Store jede App installieren kann, die ich möchte. Eigene Domain nice aber nicht wichtig.

Aktuell stehen zur Auswahl #Hetzner (hetzner.com/de/storage/storage…) für 5,11€ oder #Wolkesicher (wolkesicher.de/sichere-cloud-f…) für 3,99€

Hetzner ist ja der Platzhirsch. Wie sind eure Erfahrungen damit?
Kennt und nutzt jemand wolkesicher.de? Wenn ja, wie sind damit die Erfahrungen?

I followed the instructions but getting access denied via the ReverseProxy while it's working directly with cURL.

Das verringert die Latenzen für Benutzer aus nicht-EU Ländern und sorgt für weniger Frust bei den Ladezeiten.

And just like that, I left AWS for an EU server and more (Hetzner). Got tired of paying for DNS resolves, so moved my domain and dns as well. With storage box, I have S3 equivalent, and can host GPU servers as well to beef up Ollama on demand. #aws #hetzner

Saksassa julkishallinto on tehnyt päätöksen että 2027 mennessä ei jaeta enää mitää MS-formaatissa (siirtyvät #LibreOffice ) ja tehneet periaatepäätöksen että siirtyvät #OpenSource yhteistyösoftiin (pois #teams ja sisään #nextcloud ). Aikataulu nextcloud siirtymälle tulee syksyllä.
Nyt Tanskan toiseksi suurin kaupunki Aarhus päätti että kaikki MS lähtee, #Azure vaihtuu #Hetzner ja yms.
Samaan aikaan #Microsoft tukema #AI-firma kaatuu konkurssiin.
Olen hyvin iloinen.

#DevOps people, Is there any well known good approach to combine #Terraform / #OpenTofu with #Ansible ?

I suppose most #cloud environments have relatively good & complete providers and perhaps that makes it easy to have single sources of truth and all that jazz... but I'm using #Hetzner's cloud and there are some things that can't be exported through datasources + outputs (for example private IP addresses).

I had to script my way around, adding Moonrepo and Deno on top of that... but my setup is extremely custom and probably not taking advantage of some common practices in the field.

Ich brauche mal etwas Hilfe: Ich betreibe eine eigene Mastodon-Instanz (bzw. Sharkey), aber irgendwas mache ich wohl falsch. Mein Profilbild und das Verifizierungs-Icon neben meinem Namen werden nur lokal angezeigt – auf anderen Instanzen scheint es nicht synchronisiert zu werden.

Woran könnte das liegen?
