Ein kleiner Sportflughafen in den Dünen. Eine junge Kegelrobbe hatte sich, um sich vor der stürmischen See in Sicherheit zu bringen, vom Strand bis zur Tankstelle gerobbt. Vielleicht hat sie auch nur die beiden Tanks mit Mama und Papa verwechselt. Wer weiß ^^

A small sports airport in the dunes. A young gray seal had scrambled from the beach to the gas station to get to safety from the stormy sea. Maybe it just mistook the two tanks for mom and dad. Who knows ^^

Im Hinterland zwischen bewachsenen Dünen ruft eine junge Kegelrobbe nach ihrer Mutter.
Es wird noch ein paar Wochen dauern, bis sie selber ins Wasser geht und das Jagen lernt.

Hinter den Dünen des Nordstrandes ist ein kleiner Spielplatz. Und als ich die kleine Robbe dort gestern liegen sah, konnte ich vor Lachen die Kamera kaum halten. So lustig darf es gerne in Richtung des neuen Jahres gehen.
Ich wünsche euch allen einen guten Rutsch ins Jahr 2024!

There is a small playground behind the dunes on the north beach. And when I saw the little seal lying there yesterday, I could hardly hold the camera with laughter. It should be this funny going into the new year.

Die kleine „Püppi“, wenige Stunden alt. Wind fegt über den Strand und der Sand klebt an allem was noch nicht trocken ist.

The little one, just a few hours old. The wind sweeps across the beach and the sand sticks to everything that is not yet dry.
