BørgeI'm of the understanding that Gnome 49 now is in the RC stage? I find this a bit strange, seeing as I still have these somewhat annoying issues in GnomeOS:

Jeff Fortin T. find you on :butterfedy1: fediverse<p><strong>hi frogzone hear! im still alive</strong></p><p>i realise everyone has probably forgotten me and with think, who is this spammer, but after 9 months without fediverse, I figured that i better login to explain myself.</p><p>Basically near the start of the year two things happened at the same time to make it impossible to access fedi. Anyway Im enabling <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/javascript" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#javascript</a> in a browser now to tell you this but i NEVER enable javascript in this browser normally and will probably disable it again, hopefully not for 9 months but this <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/distrohop" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#distrohop</a> is a BIG one, more like a distro-leap! <span class="h-card"><a class="u-url mention" href="https://wizard.casa/users/nimda" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@nimda</a></span> it would really help if the <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/bloatfe" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#BloatFE</a> interface was available over <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/i2p" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#i2p</a>. @silverpil is there anyway to force a non-js experience, using a specific uri combo? FYI ive been recommending <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/mitra" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#mitra</a> more in the meatspace lately, so heads up you may be getting more traffic??? or not.... lol</p><p><span class="h-card"><a class="u-url mention" href="https://mk.gabe.rocks/@gabriel" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@gabriel</a></span> i LOVED ur interview on <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/corbettreport" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#corbettReport</a>, it is disconcerting to see his non-acknowledgment of your interest in <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/fediverse" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#fediverse</a>. He has known about fedi for a long time and probably should have known better than to pump S.S. (i mean sCRubstack), anyway sorry to hear u were set upon by S.S. drones. I've been meaning to inform u that your libresolutionsnetork.i2p site is broken, it redirects to gabe.i2p, so i may be missing out on insights. i was enjoying your updates on ur health drive but havnt been able to keep upto date lately.</p><p>The recent <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/opensource" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#openSource</a> orgs sign onto the <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/unitednations" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#unitedNations</a> pact is super creepy. The last clause, ie. to do the bidding of the United Nations makes me a bit squeemish, just because we <em>all saw covid, right</em>? Even the other clauses about "diversity and inclusion" a nasty, and seem to require developers identify themselves, meaning no more anonymous contributions? i expect better from the <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/libreoffice" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#libreoffice</a> folks that to sign onto something like this (i already knew <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/gnome" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#gnome</a> were heading down a nasty path by their locked-down communication channels). My feeling is this is a result of the engineered <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/inflation" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#inflation</a> ( <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/covid" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#covid</a> / <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/nft" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#nft</a> / <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/moneylaundering" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#moneylaundering</a>) crises means people are grasping at straws to maintain their income and status, forcing developers to accept ridiculous contracts. i dont know. Maybe im talking out a nether orifice. If i hear that everyone is plotting forks of LibreOffice and GNOME, it wouldnt surprise me.</p><p>I'm also interested in what appears to be the lawfare-based extortion of archive.org, not able to research it lately. I bet a billion bitcoins (that will never exist, because bitcoin is capped at 21 million) that <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/archivedotorg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#archiveDotOrg</a> no longer accept <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/bitcoin" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#bitcoin</a> donations. AMIRIGHT? (i dunno again I might be wrong, i literally have not checked, lol but seriously they are partnering with the US government to be a repo of govt documents??? now???)</p><p><strong>The word of the day is '#SUSPECT'</strong></p><p>... and remember everyone, <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/iran" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#iran</a> is to blame for ALL OF IT. including of cause the genocide that almost everyone on fedi knew was a <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/genocide" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#genocide</a> almost 2 years ago. Why would it take 2 years for people on corporate media pratforms to work this out.... INSERT THINKING EMOJI</p><p>anyway there is so much to talk about and i will not be able to do it now. and will not be checking messages, because my connection is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY bad now. and i'll be here forever and die. so this is just a i'm still alive, just working thru technical coincidental problems.</p><p>love you all, and hopefully i can be online proper, in the near future.</p><p><a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/fedimeta" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#fedimeta</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/gnome" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#gnome</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://wizard.casa/collections/tags/opendocumentfoundation" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#opendocumentfoundation</a> <span class="h-card"><a class="u-url mention" href="https://mastodon.bsd.cafe/@stefano" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@stefano</a></span></p>
