Super fun one for this week's #MusicWomenWednesday. The 5.6.7.8s just put out this cool 'Best hits of' compilation. Gotta love these gals. Kinda 60s, kinda surfy, garagey, unhinged/cute vocals. You may recognize the song 'Woo Hoo' from Kill Bill, which is included here. Also, they have a song about Mothra. You can't go wrong with that.

I was never much into #lofi #noise #rock until Wavves. Their DYI lofi sound really connected with me.

Interesting story of a #women owned #garage in #Yorkshire in the 1980s (and the ladies who ran it were also #lesbian #activists). Whilst society has got marginally better for #LGBT people in the meantime, its still a shame that even today such a business remains unusual (whilst there are slightly more female #mechanics, they are still relatively rare or dependent on men as employers, and other women tend to just end up in admin roles) #automotive #cars

Je cherche donc à acheter un ordinateur ou NAS avec ces critères :
• Accueil un (ou des) HDD 3.5"
• Suffisamment puissant pour faire tourner garage sans ralentir le cluster (j’ai eu le cas avec un NAS…)
• Avec un port RJ45 qui tiens au moins 500mb/s
• Qui consomme le moins d’électricité possible
• Prix raisonnable

Si vous connaissez des références à surveiller sur le bon coin, ou carrément des offres (je ne suis pas fermé au neuf) ça m’aiderait beaucoup ​​

Does anyone have the faintest idea of what the strip in this #picture might be? I found it on my #garage floor. The reverse side is sticky-backed so it probably fell off something. The blocks alternate between "Fe 5" (11.45mm wide) and "Fe 10" (22.85mm wide). The blocks stick to a magnet but are not themselves magnetised. My #Subaru has recently had a general service, plus a separate visit where the tyres were rotated and wheels aligned. The strip may be associated with those activities.

#Electric #Fiat500 - courtesy #car from local #garage and #bodyshop (not entirely sure why it was in our yard yesterday - repair garage next door is a different company, unless the EV driver had their normal car in the bodyshop)

I didn't redact branding or reg mark this time - I think a garage using an #EV as a courtesy car deserves publicity (its also a good move for those who prefer to drive cars with auto 'boxes - now increasingly common in #Ipswich and rest of #Suffolk ) #Fiat500Mastodon
