However, it is shocking how pervasive geopolitics are even in the #OpenSource space nowadays.

And you know what? That's the way it should be.

If a tech conference (especially a community- and/or Open Source-focused one) *isn't* heavily political these days, they're ignoring the rampaging goons in the room.
